When Solano was cast as Manny Gutierrez on Baywatch’s seventh season, he became the first Hispanic to occupy a regular position on the show. This was because he was the first Baywatch cast member to play the character.
The character of Manny was one of the younger members of the Baywatch squad, but he had already demonstrated his value. Mitch Buchannon came to the conclusion that Gutierrez should be added to the team despite the fact that his age did not matter due to the fact that he possessed greater athletic prowess.
José Solano- Now

Her debut as an actress came in 1996, when she appeared on the episode of Arli$$ that aired on HBO. Even though Andrada was only originally cast in a supporting role at first, she was rapidly promoted to a speaking role. During the eighth season, Marliece Andrada made a brief appearance as Skylar Bergman in a few episodes. This was sufficient to get her some recognition that she richly earned. In the edition of Playboy that was published in March of 1998, Andrada was highlighted as the Playmate of the Month.
In the action fantasy video game titled Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko, which was released in 1999, Andrada played the role of a human who had been kidnapped and was in need of rescue by a gecko named Gex. In the same year, Andrada appeared in the film Love Stinks, although she was not given any credit for her work.

Before to assuming the role of Alex Ryker on Baywatch, Mitzi Kapture had a number of cameos in low-budget films like House II: The Second Story and Private Road: No Trespassing.
