Even though The Doors didn’t really do well at the box office (it grossed only $34 million which means the studio suffered a $4 million loss), the film has become a sleeper hit over time and has turned into a cult classic. The life of Jim Morrison, the band’s lead singer, is the focus of this film and he was played by Val Kilmer. The movie depicts Morrison as a larger-than-life persona in the 1960s counterculture movement and the singer’s struggle with drugs and alcohol in addition to his macabre interest in death. The band wasn’t really happy with the film.

Emma Corrin plays Lady Di in the hit drama series and boy does she look similar to Princess Diana. The show touches on Princess Diana and Prince Charles’s marriage, its ups downs, and the scandal between Prince Charles and Camilla is certainly on its way to screens. Corrin says she has received tons of attention and paparazzi exposure, it is somewhat a similar experience to that of what Diana too had to go through.
