Guests are not the only ones who go to the resort, however. If it were not for the 74,000 “cast members” who made the magic happen, Disney World would not be in operation. With that figure, it is the United States’ largest single-site employer. More than $1.2 billion was spent by the company to pay the cast members. Also, it is shelling out $474 million for additional benefits.
