After a long wait of three months, fans were allowed to hear the name of Lively and Reynolds’ first child together. During his interview on the Today show on NBC, Reynolds revealed the unique moniker he had chosen for his oldest daughter.

The interviewer, Willie Geist, and Reynolds engaged in some lighthearted banter, during which Reynolds suggested that he and Lively should name their child either Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds or Butternut Summersquash. In the end, Reynolds caved into public pressure and admitted to the audience that her name was James.

Reynolds and Lively were seldom seen in public for the whole of 2015 since they were mainly focused on the upbringing of their newest child, James. Before the release of Woman in Gold, Reynolds would only make an appearance at press events and participate in interviews. A conversation between Lively and Live! With Kelly and Michael took place in April of 2015. There, she discussed how being a mother had fundamentally changed the course of her life.
