Long Time Acting

One-Sided Relationship
After meeting the Canadian-American singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette during Drew Barrymore’s birthday celebration, Ryan Reynolds started dating her in 2002. In 2004, only two years after they began dating, the couple was engaged. But it wasn’t “ideal,” and they ultimately broke up in 2007.
Morissette was reportedly distraught when Reynolds moved on a few weeks after their romance ended since she has made it evident that it was entirely one-sided. The song “Torch” by Morissette implied that she didn’t anticipate their breakup and even alluded to their potential future. “I miss your warmth and the idea of raising our children together.”
