Most of the men in the Robertson family had long but very distinctive beards. At some point, it became a part of their lifestyle. The facial feature ended up becoming the trademark of the family, although it was a useful tool when it comes to hunting as well. The beards became so popular that it is hard to imagine they would willingly part with it. That is why fans could not believe the pledge that Jase made.

The show focuses on a number of members from the tight-knight family. Miss Kay and Phil Robertson, the matriarch and patriarch of the clan, tied the knot when she was just 15 years old! The two of them have four sons together: Alan, Willie, Jep, and Jase. All of the kids have since started their own families, but they are all part of the duck hunting business in their own ways. Many of the grandkids also went on to play huge parts on the show. Willie’s daughter even went on Dancing With The Stars at one point. Even though they are all close with one another, we can only wager a guess as to how they felt about Jase’s plan.
