The other cop let out a sigh and indicated with a nod that he understood. He stated, “I’ll get the shuffles,” and proceeded to do so. Gabby was in complete disbelief over what they were about to do next. As soon as the other cop came back with two shuffles, her heart started beating really fast. She breathed a sigh of relief when she realized that they had not anticipated her to dig beside them. In this manner, she would instead keep an eye on the dog.
