Basset Hounds have an easy, loving nature that will get along with seniors. Although they can be a bit stubborn, they are very affectionate, that some say they like to shadow you closely, but nonetheless. You have to be watchful of its weight if you own a Basset Hound. We know that they are adorable and difficult to resist, but they are not encouraged to spoil them with excessive food because they easily put on weight. They don’t need too much work when it comes to grooming. A regular brush is good enough now and then.
