She is of Colombian descent; she was also a beauty pageant product. She joined Nuestra Belleza Latina, a beauty-pageant reality TV show. She stole the hearts of judges and fans when she joined the show in 2010 and gave her a solid fan base. She joined Univision, after the pageant. Univision was pleased because she helped to improve their ratings. In addition to the weather news, the spectators also loved her stylish dresses and her personality.

Raegan Medgie worked at The Weather Channel and WCBS and then moved to FOX5 in 2017 to add to her credentials. She started her career as a reporter for Temple Update, a student television station. She began work at a local cable station in Allentown, Pennsylvania, after graduation. She later worked for an NBC affiliate WETM, based in New York. She has also worked for WNEP, an ABC affiliate based in Elmira, New York.
