Kelly Macdonald
When she made an appearance in the film Trainspotting in 1996, Kelly Macdonald’s life was transformed in the same way that Ewen Bremner’s was. During her time spent working as a barmaid in Glasgow, she came upon a poster that advertised an open casting audition. She was taken aback when she was offered her first-ever role in a film, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Even after 25 years, Macdonald is still regarded as a talented actress in both cinema and television. She starred in HBO’s Boardwalk Empire from 2010 to 2014. She has also made appearances in the Harry Potter movies.
Matt Damon
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past ten years, you’re definitely familiar with the name Matt Damon. It wasn’t always the case that many today regard him to be one of the most successful performers in all of Hollywood, but that’s exactly what’s happening now. He began his acting career on stage when he was a teenager, but his big break came when he was cast as Will Hunting in the film Good Will Hunting.
Damon’s writing and acting debut, released 24 years ago. The picture, which he co-wrote with his buddy Ben Affleck, launched the two to mainstream prominence. Damon is currently one of Hollywood’s highest-earning actors.
