Gaby Hoffmann, who was born and raised in New York, began acting as a child and swiftly rose to notoriety with appearances in films such as Sleepless in Seattle, Now and Then, Volcano, All I Wanna Do, and 200 Cigarettes. After taking a hiatus from performing, she returned to school and completed her degree in 2001.
