ALDI is providing some of the best prices on bread. In reality, it’s hard to beat the store’s low price of just 83 cents for a 20-ounce box of white sandwich bread. Kroger-brand sliced bread, that’s $1.19. And Walmart’s Decent Value Sandwich Bread is $1.48 for a slice. Also, freshly baked bread is cheaper in the ALDI. The baguette costs $1.69, compared to $1.99 for Kroger.
