Get Out of the Way!
Running on a track is always dangerous, but the location of your fall can have a significant impact on how bad it is. When it comes to cycling, it’s a lot like the analogy we made about falling in the back of the pack versus falling in the front.
This unfortunate track runner appears to have fallen in front of a large group of runners, which is a bad situation for her. Both funny and bad at the same time. If she didn’t roll out of the way quickly, the athletes must have managed to leap over her.
Someone Call an Ambulance!
The fact that some people find humor in the suffering of others is a little unnerving. Even though something appears to be going awry, you decide to laugh rather than be alarmed. If the person you’re laughing at was in fact unharmed, then it’s fine.
No need to be alarmed; this athlete was uninjured despite this embarrassing slip on the ice. And since we’re all bad people, we can all laugh at her misfortune. Hooray!
