The lady seemed utterly outraged. She sighed and told her friends clearly, to make sure Emmit will understand her too. She moaned passively, defensively, “He has to be military or anything.” “But we paid our seats, so he still had to wait.” Emmit couldn’t trust what she meant. He didn’t want to trigger a scene at the airport, though. He tried to think of reasons for her actions. Obviously, she believed that a first-class fare could not afford. Emmit had a clear understanding at this stage of the matter and what the woman was attempting to suggest. But he did not like to think that she judged him because of the color of his face. How will anyone who felt he was a second-class citizen be in today’s age? He couldn’t really accept that. Nevertheless, he did not want to draw rash claims or judgments. He began to devise himself a second time. Perhaps the woman didn’t mean to meet that way. Yet the more he felt, the more unbelievable he got.
