Panera- Soup
Just like their pasta and pastries, Panera soup is never fresh. It comes in a bag and is placed in something called a “re-thermalizer”, which is really just a sink filled with boiling hot water and left to thaw out. Often times the bags of soup pop open while they’re thawing, and let’s just say, these re-thermalizers are not washed very frequently.
Tim Hortons- Soup
If you have ever been to this popular Canadian fast-food chain, you may understand just what a craze this place is in Canada. Not to be the bearer of bad news, but the soup at Tim Hortons is not made fresh. It comes frozen and has to be thawed out, and employees have even claimed to find maggots in the soups on more than one occasion.
