Parker Stevenson began his acting career with a part in the film A Separate Peace, which was released in 1972. After waiting another four years, Stevenson was cast in the film Lifeguard, starring opposite Sam Elliot. This was a part that had the potential to pave the way for Stevenson’s future in Baywatch.

In the late 1970s, Stevenson also appeared in episodes of The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew Mysteries, which were shown on ABC. In 1986, he had a starring role in North and South: Book II, and the next year, he made an appearance on Probe. He then joined the original cast of Baywatch the following year, in 1989.

After Baywatch, Parker appeared in the second season of Melrose Place as a recurring character and also participated in the television film Legion, which was broadcast in 1998.

His most recent film credits include Perfect Disguise, The War Riders, Not of This Earth, and Hidden Truth, and his most recent television appearances include Judging Amy, Burke’s Law, Trapped, and Bull, among others. He has continued to be active in both the film and television industries. Stevenson is also skilled in photography, a hobby he took up at a young age and has continued to develop. At the moment, he is the sole administrator of his own photography website, which is named ShadowWorks.
