Nancy Valen – Then
Nancy Valen began her pursuit of a profession in the theater by attending classes for one year prior to relocating to New York City. When Valen moved to New York, she began her acting career on a soap drama called Ryan’s Hope. Before making the journey to Los Angeles, she remained on Ryan’s Hope for a period of two years.
In 1985, she made her debut in the feature picture Porky’s Revenge. Other early works by Valen that have been credited to him include Loverboy, The Heavenly Child, and Listen to Me. Earlier in her career, Valen was seen in episodes of Miami Vice, Charles in Charge, and Murder, She Wrote. Baywatch was her first recurring role.
Nancy Valen – Now
It wasn’t until 1996 that Nancy Valen was cast as the series regular Samantha Thomas on Baywatch, but in 1989, she made her first appearance on the show as a guest star.
Although she has appeared in individual episodes of television shows including Boy Meets World, Friends, Full House, and Saved by the Bell, Valen’s acting career reached its pinnacle during her 22 appearances on Baywatch. This was the show that brought her the most success. In the present day, Valen has turned his concentration from acting to producing, and he is currently working on an action-comedy franchise called ACTION HEROES INC.
