Alexandra Paul – Then
New York City is where Alexandra Paul launched her career as a model. Her acting career began with small appearances in the television film Paper Dolls, which aired in 1982, and was followed by a role in the Canadian horror film American Nightmare, which was released in 1983.
In 1983, she made her debut in the horror picture Christine, which was her first major role. Before obtaining the most memorable role of her career as Lieutenant Stephanie Holden on Baywatch, Paul had key roles in the films American Flyers, 8 Million Ways to Die, and Dragnet. Baywatch is widely considered to be Paul’s breakthrough role.

Throughout the five years that Baywatch was broadcast on television, Alexandra Paul also appeared in a number of films, some of which include 1993’s Death Train, 1995’s Nightwatch, 1994’s The Paperboy, and 1996’s Spectre.
Since 1999, Paul has acted in 14 films that have been broadcast on the Lifetime Network. He has also made guest appearances on episodes of the television shows Melrose Place and Mad Men. Never one to take herself too seriously, Paul also impersonated her Baywatch character in a cameo appearance during a scene that was cut from Borat. This cameo appearance was in addition to her roles in the comedy spoof films Spy Hard and Sharknado: The 4th Awakening. Paul never takes herself too seriously.
