Bikini Parade
After a bikini parade in Surfers Paradise set a new record for the number of females participating, Australia was dubbed the “Bikini Capital of the World” in 2011. They totaled 357 people. In August 2012, China broke the previous record for the largest bikini parade in Huludao City, Liaoning, China. A total of 1,085 people took part in the parade. The bikini parade enhanced Australia’s reputation as a country that produces exceptional women.
