After forming the alternative rock band Thenewno2 with other musicians in 2006, he went on tour with them. After forming in 1997, the band has released a number of new songs since then. Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur, as well as other musicians, are also members of Fistful of Mercy, a punk rock band that Dhani is also a member of.
