James Louis McCartney
Parents: Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney
Born: September 12, 1977
James McCartney was given his given name by his father, James Paul McCartney, in honor of his grandfather, Sir Paul McCartney. His parents, Paul and Linda, are the parents of only one child, James, who has always had a strong desire to pursue a career in music. It is not linked to the fact that his father is present, as some have suggested. What is the root cause of this situation? As Marty McFly played the guitar in the famed ‘Back to the Future’ sequence, he recognized him as the character. He leapt at the opportunity to discover his son’s interest in guitar and promptly provided the youngster with a Stratocaster as a result. Carl Perkins was the former owner of this particular instrument. The opportunity to play guitar and drums on a few of his father’s solo records provided James with an opportunity to contribute to the music (such as “Flaming Pie” and “Driving Rain”).
