It was reported that Chris Johnson missed the bus that brought the team to the stadium since he had to go back to fetch his dentures from the hotel. He clearly could not live without them! Nowadays, this is no longer the case since he already has gold-implanted teeth. They estimated that the six teeth cost him $8.1k or $1,350 apiece. Johnson was able to hang onto the NFL for a few more years until he announced his retirement in November 2018. In total, he played ten seasons in the league.

Scottie Pippen is a former Chicago Bulls star player who suffered a terrible spell in 2002. Online reports said that he wanted to buy another extravagant thing for himself. He shelled out $4.3 million for a Gulfstream private plane! He wanted to get a working aircraft, but the one he bought could not fly and needed repairs worth $1 million. It stayed on the ground for years while he sued his advisor who did not go to the inspection of the plane. He ended up winning the lawsuit and getting $2 million in a settlement. In 2017, he made a guest appearance in one episode of the TV show Lethal Weapon.
