Regardless of the outcome, Darreld believed Nancy would be considered family. In addition, the Petersen family is now considered to be part of the Iowa City team. Morning Routine
It was the middle of the school day, late in the morning. Mrs. Nabors and her kindergarten students had finished their morning activities when the teacher realized she hadn’t checked her students’ book bags. Something wasn’t quite right, she sensed. During the inspection, she discovered the usual suspects: school supplies, food that should have been in a lunch bag, and so on. As she rummaged through the bags, one student, however, seemed questionable.
