Testing the DNA Samples
Once the doctor received the samples of DNA from both the father and daughter, it was time to start testing. There were a few steps that needed to be completed in order for the doctor to determine if they had a match. Nonetheless, the doctor went straight to work and got the job done.

The first step was to look at the samples under a microscope and examine their chromosomes. The doctor was looking for any signs of abnormalities, since that could possibly indicate a shared parentage between the two individuals. After examining the samples, it did appear as if there were some similarities, but it wasn’t enough to definitively confirm they were related
