Climate Change for the Invasion
If climate change is accurate, the earth is becoming warmer every year. If that’s the case, humanity may face another stink bug invasion, but this one will be significant. According to the International Biometeorology Journal, research predicts that the bugs will be in Switzerland in the 2010s.
Hitching a Ride
The research proved to be right. Beginning in 2017, the journal said, there was a large stink bug population and massive agricultural loss in Switzerland. This also caused the temperatures in the area to rise.
