In 1996, there was a case that was quite similar to the Caylee Anthony case. Darlie Routier’s two kids were killed with a knife. She called 911 and informed operators that their house was broken into by an intruder who stabbed her kids, attacked her, and fled. Eight days after this, Routier put on a small birthday celebration for what would have been her son Devon’s 7th birthday. She even sprayed silly string on the grave! She was found guilty for the murder of her two kids and now awaits lethal injection in a penitentiary in Texas. A lot of people believe that the media portrayed her harshly, especially when it came to the birthday party she threw at her son’s grave.
