Pressing Their Head
Occasionally, cats will obsessively press their heads on a hard object or wall for no apparent reason. Sometimes, this strange behavior comes with vocal sounds which the cat doesn’t usually make. If you observe your pet doing this, you should bring it to a vet to get checked out since this is not normal behavior. It’s often a sign that the nervous system has some damage caused by trauma, poisoning, a tumor, or other causes.
Purring On Different Occasions
Many people find it satisfying when they hear their cat purr while they’re petting them but apparently, purring is not that simple and scientists don’t know as much about it as other cat noises. Yes, it can mean the cat is satisfied and happy but it can also have plenty of other meanings. Cats purr to communicate but they also do it to calm themselves down whenever they’re feeling stressed and anxious. The vibration that accompanies the purr actually soothes them and it can calm their owners as well.
