In 1984, Quebec received a visit from Pope John II. Celine was asked to perform the French anthem, Une Colombe, in front of a big audience at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal. Reports claimed that The Pope enjoyed the performance. It was a good thing that Celine also liked performing for him!
