Like we previously mentioned, she ended up taking a three-year hiatus from music. After she came back, she released her new album in the year 2002. Called “A New Day Has Come”, the album primarily talked about what it was like to be a new mother.

Even though she has attained plenty of success, she is beloved by so many people because she is always down-to-earth and treats her fans very well. After the death of her husband, many supporters wanted to give her their sympathies and condolences personally. She gave them the opportunity to do that, which is rather selfless in our opinion. The artist also allowed a televised broadcast of the eight-hour funeral. As you can see, she was not scared to be transparent with the people who support her.
