Matt White was a man just like any other. He made his usual trip to the grocery store. But one evening as he was getting his weekly necessities, he ran into a boy who would forever alter the course of his life. It might be difficult to imagine that a typical night of grocery shopping could accomplish that for you. However, what happened to both of the involved parties changed their lives irrevocably. Everything would change when a young boy approached Matt as he was leaving his neighborhood grocery store, but how? This is Matt’s amazing tale.

When Matt saw the young man outside of the grocery store in Memphis, Tennessee, he was 30 years old. He had finished college and received a degree in the music industry. Kroger, a supermarket chain, was his usual shopping destination.
