When Matt was at Chauncy’s house, the boy’s mother, Barbara Black, introduced herself to him. The first thing that came to mind for Matt about Barbara was that she was extremely gracious and kind. It was clear to him that the mother genuinely appreciated everything that Matt had done for her.

Due to the severity of this condition, Barbara had a difficult time moving around on her own.
