Another detail probably rubbed the royals the wrong way. It was the fact that before meeting Prince Harry, Meghan Markle had already been married and then divorced. In 2004, she started to go out with Trevor Engelson. They were together for several years before they walked down the aisle in 2011. Sadly, they chose to lead their own lives around 18 months after the wedding and finalized the divorce in August 2013. We are sure that this was not something that the royal family approved of.

Not that long ago, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tried a different method to reach out to their fans and supporters. They created an Instagram account called “Sussex Royal.” A royal expert named Melanie Bromley criticized it and said that the captions do not come off like they were made by a royal. “They keep making mistakes on their Instagram,” she explained by pointing out an error in a caption. It used “every day” and not “every day.” They also used American words like “diapers” and “cribs.” Oops.
