This was a tunnel system designed to assist people escape through Lansdowne. However, the historian needed to look more closely. But upon closer examination, the findings were perplexing. After further investigation, the historian was unable to draw any significant conclusions. Due to the nature of the chamber, it could have been a simple storage area. But why was it sealed?

All the historian could offer was a closer look into the home’s history. However, Alexandra knew in her heart what the chamber was for. And when a neighbor reported a similar occurrence in their home, her beliefs became even stronger. Alexandra’s neighbor shared something interesting. They, too, had discovered a hidden area in their home. They were informed that it was, in reality, part of the Underground Railroad. Alexandra realized this was why she had a hidden room.
