In 1980, Samaire Armstrong was born to a Scottish father and an Italian mother in Tokyo, Japan. She lived there for the first couple of years of her life. However, they had to travel all over Asia thanks to the nature of her dad’s job. She went to the University of Arizona but later went to Los Angeles in the hopes of becoming an actress. During the course of her career, she worked on projects such as It’s a Boy Girl Thing, Stay Alive, Not Another Teen Movie, The O.C., Dirty Sexy Money, and Just My Luck. She has been in music videos in the past as well! Do you remember that girl in Bad Day by Daniel Powter and Penny & My by Hanson? That was her!

We would have thought that he was totally American if it weren’t for that. He found it hard to land jobs in the United Kingdom and decided to try his luck across the pond. As we all know, he has already perfected his American accent. This was a huge advantage since it helped him snag more parts when he was just starting out.
