A Constant Reminder
“You remind me of my son. I pulled you over,” the policeman said. “Thought you were him. I still don’t believe it most days he’s gone.” All William could do was oblige the request and give the poor man a hug.
A Warm Embrace
At that point, William couldn’t hold back tears either. As he got out of his car, he opened his arms and “hugged that man.” He later recounted, “With tears in both our eyes I got out and hugged that man.”
