A dealership out of state
The dealership was in the neighboring state. Approximately a 6-hour drive separates the small town. In order to record the buyer’s information, Davis already had a pen and paper at his disposal. However, the dealership had some unexpected and discouraging news for the officer.
It had been stolen
Since the car had not yet been purchased, they had no information on the buyer. It had only recently been taken! On Friday morning, someone stole the car, and they haven’t been found since. The dealership had already reported it to the police, but it was obvious that nothing had been done about it.
