Ocean Sunfish
Ocean sunfish, also called the mola mola, is the biggest bony fish in the sea! It can grow up to 14 ft vertically and 10 ft horizontally. It can also weigh as much as 5,000 pounds. They look like they are made out of Styrofoam, don’t they? They like to rest in the sun by the surface of the water. Birds and smaller fish eat parasites off their bodies. The fish might jump into the air to try to shake off parasites as well!
