As the vehicle sped down the tunnel, Paul suddenly lost control. It was in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris, France that Paul hit the wall and spun out of control, crashing the vehicle.

The Cause Of The Crash
When looking for a cause of the crash investigators concluded that photographers weren’t near enough to have directly caused it. Therefore, the investigation pointed to Paul who was apparently intoxicated with more than three times the legal alcohol limit.
