He was worried that her skin would burn in the exposed clothing, and he made sure she knew it. Dolly claims they fell in love at first sight because he kept staring at her face.

Carl Dean, who is usually very private, has revealed what it was like for him to meet Dolly. On the anniversary of his wedding the year before, he issued a statement reading, “My first thought was I’m gonna marry that girl. My subsequent thought was, “Good lord, she’s hot.” And from that day on, I began living. Dean was in his pickup truck and passing the laundromat when he saw Dolly and felt compelled to approach her.
