We’re willing to say that if all college professors were skateboarders, the dropout rate at colleges and universities would be lower. Tom Winter showed that no matter how old or young we were, we could all be awesome. The college professor has no qualms about riding his skateboard all over campus. Tom Winter preferred to ride a skateboard to support the community rather than to look hip.

When anyone captured Jimmy McMillian after a tense conversation, he became an internet phenomenon. During a discussion, he said that the rent was much too expensive. Since everybody could react to Jimmy McMillian’s relatable terms, it became a hashtag. Jimmy was also an outspoken protester who wasn’t afraid to demonstrate a karate move in public. Jimmy McMillian will not be long before he becomes yet another meme.
