MARK ZUCKERBERG — LAKE TAHOE, $59 MILLION
Clearly, buying a lake house wouldn’t cut it for multi-billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, so he bought an entire compound. He recently bought two side-by-side mansions on Lake Tahoe, spending a total of $59 million. The two properties total about 10 acres and have a total of 15 bedrooms. Not to mention numerous piers to house multiple boats. The smaller mansion, Carousel Estate, was built back in the early 1930s. The other house, Brushwood Estate, was built in the 1960s and has two adjoining guesthouses. The mansions have a rustic farmhouse style and views that are worth every penny. To top it off, there is a good deal of privacy in the estate since it’s surrounded with plenty of lush foliage.
AMY ROBACH – FLORIDA, $9.975 MILLION
Amy Robach made a name for herself across the country thanks to her work on television. She has worked on shows such as Today, 20/20, and Good Morning America. Her Florida home shows us how much money she has earned from her great career, though we are sure that actor Andrew Shue, her husband, also chipped in. The 5-bedroom home has been placed on the market at an asking price of $9.97 million. It won’t give them profit since she actually paid $11.75 million for it in 2008.
