She stepped into a nail
Abby was in such much pain that she couldn’t stop crying as she grabbed to her foot for support. When Abby’s mother discovered some blood, she did not spare any time in bringing her daughter back inside the house. When she checked the wound, she realized that it had been caused by a small nail. We can only assume Abby stepped directly into it because she was not wearing shoes at the time of the event.

Her mother yelled at her father, asking him if he hadn’t been cleaning the shed. “Haven’t you been cleaning the shed?” she demanded. “Connor, weren’t you the one who was cleaning up the shed?!”
Lying to her father
Abby’s father had a strikingly similar complexion to his daughter. “I… I had the impression that everything was in its proper place!” I’m really sorry that something like this happened to you, Abbs. However, why did you chose to visit that particular location in the first place? Have you found anything, and, uh, do you remember if you hit anything?When my father spoke, his tone was low, almost mumbling.
Lying to her father
Abby shook her head briefly to clear her thinking before continuing. She just stated, “I was just playing,” in response to the accusation. She placed a high emphasis on her father remaining unconcerned about everything.
