Robin Wright – Now
Since Forrest Gump, Robin Wright’s career in cinema and television has not shown any signs of slowing down at all. In point of fact, one might say that it has only picked up speed. She played a role in both the critically acclaimed television drama series House of Cards, which came to an end in 2018, as well as the 2017 film Wonder Woman, for which she received multiple award nominations.
Since 1994, not much has changed in her life; she was acting then, and she is still performing now, but she has a lot more comprehensive repertoire.
Sally Field as Mrs. Gump
Sally Field portrayed Forrest’s mother in the film’s setting. This character was a selfless individual who would go to any length to ensure that her son was happy and could realize his full potential. She rose to notoriety in the 1960s, when she performed in series including The Flying Nun and Gidget. She has been a prominent presence in the industry ever since. In one of these shows, she made her acting debut.
She was a two-time Oscar winner like Tom Hanks, and her 1984 acceptance speech is still one of the show’s most famous. She won two Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
