It didn’t mean that if they were out of the public eye, they were gone. The missing stars that were lost in the spotlight but were still breathing were tackled by this list. Olivia de Havilland – Age 103
Olivia de Havilland was the daughter of Lillian Fontaine, a British actress. She had great acting skills from her mother, which she inherited. In her ’40s, Jane Powell was a recording artist. She had a contract with the same company as Arlene Dahl, with photographs of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. She was the star of Judy’s A Date, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Hit the Deck. She seldom acted in movies during the ’50s but concentrated on working in the theatre. Gene was one of the developers who rendered M*A*S*H successfully. He has been nominated 24 times for Emmy awards. For 4 years, Gene became the head of the Director’s Guild. Janis Paige – Age 96
Janis Paige was a highly skilled Broadway singer and actress. She soon became a TV show and movie sensation and she even got a star on Hollywood Boulevard. There were rough times, such as when she was incorrectly coached, resulting in damage to her voice. Luckily, after some medical attention, she recovered. Dick Van Dyke – Age 93
Dick Van Dyke had several roles, but what he was renowned for was his role in Mary Poppins. He had a fake British accent as well. When he was 87, he had a serious car accident.
