Darryl Hickman, 87, was an actress, acting coach, and executive on television. He was born in Hollywood and decided to go there to pursue his career. In the 1937 film The Prisoner of Zenda, he landed his first role. He became a screenwriter too and was the author of The Unconscious Actor: In Absolute Power, Out of Control. He also worked, apart from that as a director and producer.
