After giving it some thought, the girls decided it was time for a change of scenery. They were unhappy at Kansas and preferred attending a school near Idaho. They thought about this decision tirelessly and finally landed on UNLV. Unfortunately, they started to receive some criticism from their followers for their decision to change schools.

Between the two girls, they were averaging one million Instagram followers. Kansas fans were unhappy with their change of heart. However, Dylan addressed touched on these criticisms in an interview with the Idaho State Journal: “We expected some backlash, especially transferring from a Big 12 program to the Mountain West. It’s definitely tough because people don’t really know what goes on behind the curtain, so they just make these assumptions and throw things out there that nine times out of 10 are not true.” The twins took a break from the game for a year but then returned to join the Lady Runnin’ Rebels. Unfortunately, this was shortlived when something in their lives changed.
