The fabulous Meryl Streep also first started her acting career on Broadway until she landed a role in Deadliest Season in 1977, and soon after that won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for her role in Kramer vs Kramer, and today is one of the most decorated stars in Hollywood, having more Oscar nominations than any other actor in the industry! Thank goodness Meryl is still acting and appearing on our screens.

Marilu Henner had her first break when she landed a role in the musical cast of the original Broadway production of Grease. She got her first film role in Between the Lines, and her next role was in Bloodbrothers with Richard Gere, but it was when she played Elaine in Taxi that really got her noticed. Today she is also a producer, a radio host, and an author, as well as an advocate for healthy lifestyles including non-dairy diets and exercise. She has a rare condition called “Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory”, which she has spoken about publically, a condition that allows/burdens her to remember everything in precise detail.
