SALLY FIELD, 71 YEARS OLD
This much-loved actress has been in the business for nearly six decades! Sally Field began her acting career at the age of 19, in the sitcom Gidget. The sitcom was cut after one season, but Field had made a name for herself by then and went on to star in The Flying Nun, which ran for three seasons, as well as in a number of other television productions such as The Girl with Something Extra and Sybil, and most recently as the impressive matriarch in Brothers and Sisters. Field conquered the big screen too, starring in iconic films like Forest Gump and Mrs. Doubtfire. She received her first Oscar Award for her performance in Norma Rae, and Academy Awards for her role in Places in the Heart. This actress has quite a number of accolades under her belt and a secure place as a favorite in the entertainment industry, but it seems that there is nothing that will cull this impressive actress’s passion for acting, as she still continues to work on a variety of projects in both film, television and theatre.
