Actress Natalie Wood has been in the spotlight ever since she was young, receiving three Academy Award nominations before she was 25. Born in the USA to Russian immigrant parents, she rose to fame with her role in Miracle on 34th Street where she played Maureen O’Hara. She then went on to star in West Side Story as Maria, as well as in Rebel Without a Cause. Sadly she also died an untimely death. She died when she was just 43 in uncertain circumstances while on a cruise to Santa Catalina with her husband Robert Wagner, and co-star Christopher Walken who was also captain of the yacht.

She starred in many hit Hollywood films, and later dedicated her life to philanthropy, becoming an advocate for Jewish causes as well as raising awareness for AIDS.
