Lynda Carter
Since we are on the subject of wonder women, Lynda Carter is the actress who played the original Wonder Woman in the television series between 1975 and 1979. American actress, singer, songwriter, and model (she won the title of Miss World United States in 1972!), is also a proud LGBTQ rights activist. She was the Grand Marshal for both the New York and Phoenix Pride Parades in 2011.

Singer and dancer Nicole Scherzinger were in a few bands before she really hit the jackpot with Pussycat Dolls in 2003. First, she was in Days of the New, and then Eden’s Crush, but when Pussycat Dolls started they were such a success, the band stayed together for seven years, until 2010. Scherzinger is also an actress and a television personality, and she has been a judge on the USA X-Factor panel for a while now too.
